Khachapuri & Wine on Nekrasova. We wanted a place you drop into like a neighbour.

We often like to use a recycling approach to making a space. The chairs for this project — bent metal with wooden slats — were bought second-hand: they had previously stood in a sports centre. We restored them and put them back into use. That ecological approach is close to us.

The large tile wall was assembled on the same principle: it is at once a decorative element and an object of recycling — all the tile was bought on Avito and is reused. From a distance it is a pattern; up close, a collection you can study for a long time.

We often use ironic devices in our projects. Here it is the “Battleship” panel, made of building materials: polystyrene insulation tiles and construction fixings, arranged as a game in progress. And the chandelier — instead of a classic one, we gathered a cluster of work lights into a single grand fitting.
